Prompt is an innovative standalone food tracking device designed to address the issue of food waste. By allowing users to set the expiration date for each food item, it provides timely notifications through color-coded indicators and sound alerts, enabling users to efficiently monitor the stage of the food's life cycle and make informed decisions to minimize waste.

During my final year of Masters studies, I embarked on a research project aimed at addressing the significant issue of household food waste in Australia. Recognizing the need for an effective solution, I developed a tracking device that would seamlessly integrate into the existing household ecosystem, allowing users to tackle the persistent challenge of food waste and encourage more sustainable consumption practices.
